Laquon Treadwell to Minnesota Vikings!

The Minnesota Vikings used their 23rd pick of the NFL draft this thursday to select Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell.

The 6'2, 210-pound Treadwell is known around the league for his excellent hands in deflecting press contact at the line of scrimmage as well as his ability to extend and attack the football in jump ball situations.  He also has a knack for big hits as a run blocker in the open field, which may be important in a new stadium with field turf and Adrian Peterson running the football.

Treadwell led the SEC in receiving in 2015, pulling in 82 catches for 1153 yards and 11 touchdowns.  His 14.1 average yards per catch will hopefully extend the field for Teddy Bridgewater, who is in his third season and looking to prove furthermore that he is the leader of the Minnesota Vikings for the future.  The Vikings ranked 21st in the league for passing yards per game last season, chalking up a mere 235 yards per contest.
