Vikings Offensive Coordinator Pat Shurmur Signs As Head Coach For New York Giants

The New York Giants named Pat Shurmur as the 18th Head Coach of their storied franchise this Monday.  Known around the league as a quarterback guru, Shurmur spent the 2016-17 NFL season grooming Case Keenum into maybe the league's most improved player, completing 67% of his passes for 3547 yards and 22 touchdowns to just 7 interceptions with an 11-3 regular season record.  Next year, he will be deciding where to go next with Eli Manning and the starting quarterback position for the Giants ( Manning, a 14 year starter for the Giants, was benched last November). Golden Gopher Basketball!

The Minnesota Golden Gophers basketball team surprised many last year with a 23-8 record. They also made the NCAA tournament as a 5 seed, which marks the highest seeding for the University since there 1997 Final Four run as a 1 seed.  There is a lot to look forward to when it comes to the Gophers basketball program. Richard Pitino has been getting better every year since his arrival and now more then ever is the talent pool deepening. Amir Coffey, Isaiah Washington and future prospect Daniel Oturu  are all 4-star rated players. Randy Moss, "The Freak"

On February 13th, 1977, a star was born.
