Minnesota Vikings sign QB Mitch Leidner!
The Minnesota Vikings signed former Minnesota Gophers quarterback Mitch Leidner this Sunday.
Though Leidner was considered a 1st round pick in the 2017 NFL draft by ESPN's Todd McShay before the season started, he went undrafted as no team bought on the hype. 3rd string quarterback Taylor Heinicke was injured last week in preseason action versus the Seattle Seahawks, which opened up a spot on the depth chart for the Gopher alumni.
Leidner completed 580 of 1,029 passes for 7,287 yards and threw 36 touchdowns in his college career. How will he fair in the NFL?
