One Game Left In The NBA Finals! Tied 3-3
The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors 115-101 at Quicken Loans Arena on Thursday night, tying the NBA Finals at three games a piece. There is only one game left to be played for the rights to the championship trophy, a game seven in Oakland at Oracle Arena.
The Cavaliers blew the lid off the game from the jump, scoring 31 points to the Warriors' 11. LeBron James was undeniably the best player on the court in game 6, going for 41 points, 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks. Kyrie Irving added to the demolition, going for 23 points 4 rebounds and 3 assists himself. Steph Curry had 30 points, but totaled 6 fouls at the end of the game and was ejected for throwing his mouthpiece at a fan on the sidelines.
LeBron James averages 32.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 6.9 assists in 17 total playoff elimination games over his career. With that said, only 3 teams out of 33 have gone to a game 7 after being down 3-1 in the NBA Finals, and none of those 3 teams have gone on to win the championship. With the odds stacked against them, will King James get his third title?
