Vikings defeat Bills 17-10!
The Minnesota Vikings took down the Buffalo Bills in the first game of the preseason this past thursday, 17-10.
The first team offenses for both sides were held scoreless by the first team defenses, keeping it 0-0 going into the second quarter. Sam Bradford was sacked twice by the Bills, continuing the trend from last season. Rookie Dalvin Cook proved his case as starting running back thanks to his versatility in the passing game, adding 4 catches for 30 yards to his 13 yards on the ground on 5 attempts rushing. Case Keenum got the second string snaps at quarterback over Taylor Heinicke, looking great in the process (11-16 121 yards passing).
Though the game was relatively uneventful, this was a great start to the NFL preseason!
