We Fly High! Ballin'!!! Lonzo Ball Summer League Success
As the late & great Jim Jones would say, "We fly high, no lie, you know this..... BALLIN!"
Lonzo Ball, the Los Angeles Lakers 2nd overall pick of the 2017 NBA draft, proved worthy of his last name during the 2017 Summer League Season. In six games, Ball averaged 16.3 points, 9.3 assists, 7.7 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1 block per game with two triple-double's (shout out to Ice Cube) and 4 games of 10 assists or more! No other rookie has ever posted a triple double in the summer league - not LeBron James, nor Kobe Bryant! Lonzo Ball passed so well during the Summer League he even had current president of Laker basketball operations Magic Johnson standing up in applause.
Will this play carry into the regular season? Only time will tell!
