X Marks the Spot for the Minnesota Lynx
Everyone knows that the Minnesota Lynx are the most dominant team the WNBA has seen in some time. Winning 3 titles in 5 years and coming up just short on their 4th championship this past season. The Lynx are once again the odds on favorite to hoist the WNBA title this season and with superstar Maya Moore, anything is possible!
The Target Center is the place the Lynx have called home throughout their entire existence, but they will not be playing their for the 2017 season. Due to the $150 million renovations taking place on the Target Center. The Lynx will call the Xcel Energy Center home for one year. Home to the Minnesota Wild, they will need to make room for one of the biggest and most dedicated fan bases in women's basketball! The renovations taking place at the Target Center consist of a new scoreboard, which has already been put into place. New side paneling all across the exterior of the arena as well as a brand new front entrance will make the Target Center pop in downtown Minneapolis. During the summer months is where the interior concourse, locker rooms, suites, lounges and restrooms will all be revamped to make the Target Center once again a state of the art facility!
