About This Photo: Lambeau Field is a shrine to pro football and the NFL’s most iconic stadium. This panoramic photo captures the atmosphere of the game on Sunday, September 16, 2018 which resulted in a 29-29 tie between the Packers and their rival, the Minnesota Vikings, with Lambeau Field filled-to-capacity with more than 80,000 fans. Many of the Packers’ ever-loyal fans own stock in the team and have been faithfully filling Lambeau Field on game days since it opened in 1957. Since their founding in 1919, the Packers have not only miraculously survived in the league’s smallest city, but also have been its most successful franchise by winning a record 13 NFL championships.
