The Evolution of Sam Bradford
A year ago, people would have laughed if you told them that Sam Bradford would be the quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. After all, Teddy Bridgewater signed a four-year contract with the Vikings in 2014 and became the star quarterback that same year after Matt Cassel injured himself. Unfortunately, last August, Bridgewater injured his knee badly enough to force him out of the game for the rest of the season. With the assumption that their star running back, Adrian Peterson would help carry the team, the Vikings officials decided to acquire Sam Bradford as their quarterback. In a devastating blow to the team, Peterson tore his meniscus playing against the Packers, eliminating him from the rest of the season.
What Does Sam Bradford Have to Offer?
So far, Sam Bradford has proven that he thrives under pressure in his accurate throws and fast releases. In fact, he has not thrown any interceptions this season so far, which makes for an excellent record. As the season progresses, Bradford appears to feel more comfortable in his decisions and executions. Whether or not Bradford will stay on as a Vikings quarterback player next year remains unclear, but his skill set is blossoming this season to say the least.
