This Dennis Rodman jersey design was worn during the 1988-89 NBA season which culminated in the NBA finals victory over the Lakers. Rodman was instrumental with the Pistons finally getting over the top and winning the NBA championship. His rebounding, defense and toughness fit well with the Detroit "Bad Boys" persona. Although he was the 6th man, Rodman mad the first team All NBA defensive team in this year.
