Minnesota Vikings Vs. New York Giants

This Monday, October 3rd, is a very exciting day for our sports fan store, because the New York Giants are playing the Minnesota Vikings here in Minnesota! Given the excellent track record both teams displayed so far this season, this should be a great game!

With three losses and three wins this season, we can only imagine how badly the Giants want to triumph over the Vikings. The Giants quarterback, Eli Manning, has struggled against the Vikings repeatedly in the past, so chances are he will bring it this Monday and motivate his team to destroy the Vikings. The question is, do they have what it takes?

As mentioned in an earlier blog, this season may arguably be the best season for the Vikings ever! Head Coach Mike Zimmer has transformed the once-suffering team into a force to be reckoned with, and everyone’s taking notice. Two weeks ago, they beat their bitter rivals, the Green Bay Packers, 17- 14, which made for a sad day in Wisconsin. Just a week later, the Vikings defense mopped the floor with Cam Newton when they played against the Carolina Panthers, sacking him eight times. In a crushing 22- 10 defeat, the Vikings beat the Panthers in their home stadium, which was the first time the Panthers lost a home game in over two years.
